Digital Communications Officer
As a member of the Community Relations team you will be delivering effective, integrated, consistent high quality external and internal communications, supporting the Council to strengthen its relationship with the communities it serves.
There will be a focus on the cultural changes we are making in our digital transformation strategy but you will also be assisting council teams meet their customer centric objectives through effective communications.
Comfortable with online tools, as well as traditional channels, you will be experienced and confident enough to be a communications champion, advising elected members and all levels of management as to the most effective strategies and tools.
Your proven experience in the translation of complex technical information and policy into easily understood material will be backed by a tertiary qualification in communications or relevant field with at least 3 years work experience in the field. You will also be a master of undertaking and managing multiple tasks and projects, and it would be a plus if you have had experience in a public service role.
